The
Arboretum began in the late 1960’s with a planting of
Eucalyptus trees. Today they comprise the most diverse
collection of Eucalyptus anywhere outside of Australia. In
the 40 plus years the arboretum has existed, other
collections have developed and diversified. The emphasis is
on plants from New Zealand, South Africa, California and
Australia.
