This 96-acre garden was
designated the official botanical garden of New Jersey in
1984. It is listed on the National Register of Historic
Places. Skylands Manor, the Tudor-style mansion, was built
in the 1920’s from granite quarried on the site. Highlights
of the plant collection include lilacs, peonies and
azaleas, along with an Annual Garden, a Perennial Garden
and a Winter Garden.
