Hidden Lake Gardens
Tipton, Michigan
This 755-acre
garden opened to the public in 1945 when it was donated to
Michigan State College (now University). Highlights include
a 120-acre arboretum, a conservatory, a hosta garden and a
collection of dwarf conifers. The garden is still owned and
operated by the University.
